Deciding to cut the ties from your steady eddy job and venture forward with an unknown future business is brave and frightening all at once. But even more challenging is overcoming the fear of making the right choice. Fear of failure …Fear of scrutiny from your family and friends…Fear that you are starting too late . Well it is never too late, you will always meet resistance and naysayers and you could fail. But the real failure is in giving into your fears and not focusing on your dreams.
More and more people are out there working home based businesses and touting their benefits. We are the champions ! We are the people who dare to do more ! So, how do you choose?
I will tell you how I chose and how many people go about their new journey.
Have an open mind and listen to all opportunitues. Not only will you learn about the company, you will get experience on the do’s and don’ts of a product presentation .
Look into the leaders in the company . Who are they ? What is their track record?
Look at the numbers. What is the company grossing? How much have they grown? What is the future growth opportunity?
Look at the product itself and reviews . Remember there are never going to be perfect reviews . Weigh the good and the bad.
Then look at support . Success does not happen overnight . It might look that way but it comes from work and dedication . Will you have the support and tools to succeed?
This is what I did when I joined the Rodan +Fields team. I had already run my own business for 9 years. I was looking for supplemental and renewable income with a group of really fun people, a product I could stand behind and a means to make more money but share the wealth . I also wanted to keep my overhead low. This works for me!
I can work anywhere from my phone any time and I do not have to have inventory in my home .

Christine Lapointe was born and raised in New England and is a graduate of The University of California at Riverside. Prior to owning her consulting company Aesthetics 360 , her experience in the medical field began in the elective surgery industry in 1996 with Summit Vision Centers. Christine has since gained national and international recognition as a consultant, business owner, public speaker and published author. She has extensive experience in staff training and motivation, sales counseling techniques, marketing strategies, web strategies, as well as public relations and outreach.
Simultaneously, Christine runs another business as an Independent Consultant for Rodan+Fields. These are the doctors who created proactiv, and now have a complete anti aging skin care line for all types of skin. This company has allowed Christine the ability to work from anywhere and help other people change their lives and outlook on network marketing.
Christine is an avid supporter of people who are choosing to venture out into business for themselves. She understands the challenges and the courage it takes to turn a dream into reality. Being an entrepreneur at heart, Christine began a second business as a Rodan + Fields Independent consultant in 2017 and her vision is to retire in two years from the income she generates with this company. Looking at ways to bring additional and renewable income to her life became a passion and this company was one of her top five that peeked her interest. Now that being able to live on income generated by being 'her own boss' has become a reality, Christine is looking for many ways to share her experiences with those people who may be on the edge of working for themselves. In her spare time Christine volunteers in her community as a Board Member to the COA (Council on Aging in Monson, MA) and enjoys spending time at home with her husband of 25 years, Big G, along with their five dogs and four birds. A passionate animal lover, Christine is involved in animal rescue programs and continues to find ways to educate the public on the social and health benefits of adopting pets and the responsibility pet owners have to their animals. Christine resides in both MA and FL and continues to be open to new businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.
